CONVENTION CENTER TRANSFER STATION MAP

Located at convergence of two surface level public transportation systems and the elevated monorail, the transfer structure can provide for convenient high volume arrival and departure traffic for both Petco Park and the Convention Center, and convenient transfer to already established public transportation

The monorail extension originating at Hillcrest parallels the trolley and rail tracks from Forth Ave. to enter the transfer station at a sixty degree angle to the route originating at SDSU and Northpark that approaches along Park Blvd. This provides convenient foot traffic movement into or from events at one or both Costco Park and Convention Center.

The two monorail systems then join as they leave the transfer center on the harbor side and cross over to the Marina Islands at a height above the water to allow ferry traffic into the Spinnaker Hotel berth. Due to guiderail height and distance of their location along the harbor side of Marina Park as they approach the proposed Coronado monorail bridge, there should be no significant negative effect on view from the Spinnaker Hotel or convention Center
